The Kosgoda shore is frequented by seven different turtles who swim back to the beach where they were born to lay eggs giving birth to the next generation. Among them are the endangered species Olive Ridley and Leatherback. At the centre you can observe eggs kept safe from being dug out for selling or eaten by animals, until they hatch. You can see how the little hatchlings are released to the sea at the right time and watch the little ones scramble their way to the ocean.

Learn about conservation efforts to help these precious beings of the sea survive.
